Private Provider Induction Session 16th October 2013

Since 2011, registered training providers with a contract for apprenticeship or traineeship delivery are required to attend a induction session within four months of receiving the contract.

The seminar provides the latest information about VET legislation, regulations and policy and is provided free.

QLD High Risk Industry Work Health Funding Program

Eligible organisations with workers in identified high risk industries can be funded up to $40.000 for initiatives that improve and promote worker health and wellbeing.

Projects must focus on improving the health of workers by encouraging and promoting physical activity, healthy eating and drinking, smoking cessation and reducing harmful consumption of alcohol.

Applications close 11th October 2013

TLISC Are Conducting Their Annual E-Scan

Every year the Transport and Logistics Industry Skills Council (TLISC) undertakes an analysis of Transport and Logistics Industry trends.

The Skills Council will use the information gathered through this process to develop the lastest E-Scan.

The E-Scan provides advice on workforce planning, development needs and projected demand on the national training system over the next 12 months.

You can help the 2014 E-Scan to be accurate and relevant by contributing to identified national policy priorities.
